We are extremely excited to welcome back tango stars Junior Cervila and Guadalupe Garcia to Tango Movement for one intensive day of workshops!

WORKSHOP I: The Lost Steps of Antonio Todaro (Tango)

WORKSHOP II: The Lost Steps of Pepito Avellenada (Milonga)

Have you ever wondered how tango was created? Many of the classic figures you see today in the milongas, and learn in classes, were created by a few legendary tango dancers, who are sadly not with us today.

However, their steps were preserved by the students they taught, who in turn have passed them on to us. In this way they live on and have given shape to modern day tango.

We are privileged to be in the company of Junior Cervilla, who personally learnt his first tango steps with these tango greats.

The focus of the two workshops are on the figures that somehow didn't survive the process and were forgotten ... or were they?

No partner needed. Don't forget to pre-book so we can monitor the gender balance.

We've been busy preparing our workshop programme from now until Christmas.

Topics will include a Ladies Technique Workshop and a Christmas treat: "Lifts, Tricks & Mince Pies"! Come back and visit this page soon and you'll find all the details.

Any tango topic you'd like us to cover? Something you feel you could improve on, a past class you loved or something completely new? Let us know! You could find your topic appearing on our schedule soon!
