It was our first time performing since the Pandemic. We weren’t sure what to expect. Outdoor events are amazing but even in London summertime they are a risky business and yes, rain had been forecast.
It has been so long since we last performed that as I got my show dresses down from a box at the top of my wardrobe, I had almost forgotten how to prepare for a show. What actually did I need? Hairspray. Check. Hair grips. Check. Fishnets. Check.

Why is changing dynamic important when we dance tango?

I am in love with dancing tango slowly. It feels dreamy and romantic. But I would never want to dance slowly for the whole tango. It makes me feel like I’m sleepwalking! You may want to dance cheek to cheek with me, but I don’t think you want me dozing off on your shoulder!
Recently I’ve had a serious case of itchy feet. I imagine I’m not alone. Knowing I can’t travel has only made me want to travel more. I yearn to be in a far flung place, exploring the sites, the markets, the cuisine.
