Cancellation Policy

When you book a session we hold a place especially for you. Whilst we understand that plans can change, if you cancel we will need time to offer your place to someone else. For this reason, no refunds can be offered for cancellations made within 24 hours of your session or if you don’t attend. We hope you understand!

Milonga is tango’s carefree cousin. But all too often dancers feel far from carefree when dancing it! They start to rush, lose connection and get flustered.

In this course, we’ll help you find your “milonga feet”. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more relaxed, playful and rhythmically expressive.

We’ll cover:

  1. Milonga Body: posture, embrace, steps and attitude.
  2. Milonga Drills: musicality and co-ordination.
  3. Milonga Patterns: step combinations – starting simple, then building!
  4. Milonga Connection: leading/following focus.
  5. Milonga Creativity: playfulness at its best!

Get yourself ready! As there is no workshop on 11 October (it’s my birthday!) how about doing a tiny bit of preparation for the milonga course? Listen to milonga tracks at home; walk to them, keeping your steps small. You can also try weight changes and simple rebounds. And don’t forget: enjoy!

Location

This class takes place in a spacious dance studio in the heart of Soho, with smooth wooden floors, wall-to-ceiling mirrors and ballet barres.

You’ll be spoilt for choice with bars, shops and restaurants either before or after class.
