The event was a sell-out which means that several thousand pounds will have been raised for the chosen charities in Argentina, which work to improve the lives of children living in poverty.

We’re very grateful to Alejandra Soto and the APARU Team for their hard work in helping us to organise the ball and to Diego Doigneau for generously donating his DJ skills year after year.

We’re immensely proud of our Students for their amazing show – to live music. They did so well considering that the first time they rehearsed with Tango Siempre was the day of the Ball itself.

Thank you to my dress maker from Italy, Angela Facchini, for all her stunning dresses for the student show. She made nine dresses in just a few days!

Thanks to Tango Siempre Septet for their fabulous music and especially to the wonderful cellist, Laura Anstee, whose interpretation of Bach’s Cello Suite inspired our performance.

And last but not least, Royal Ballet Principal Marianela Nuñez and Teatro Colon Principal Alejandro Parente for what must be the biggest surprise performance the tango community has ever seen! The whole audience was spellbound. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your generosity of spirit!
