THE LIVE MUSIC EVENT OF 2019

We can’t get enough of them at the moment. We have their music on a loop in our classes and we can’t stop watching their videos.

But nothing is like dancing to them live. We stumbled across them playing at a milonga in Buenos Aires last summer … and it was electric.

So when the opportunity arose to bring La Orquesta Romantica Milonguera over to London, we leapt at the chance.

If you’ve watched any of their videos, you’ll know not only that they are incredible musicians but also true showmen - with a wonderful quirky, retro charm.

Have a look at this video with their version of the 1942 tango “Que Te Importa Que Te Llore”.

The evocative snippets of Buenos Aires streets, the beautiful tango dancing and even the tongue-in-cheek visit to the psychoanalyst (did you know that Buenos Aires is home to more psychologists per capita than any other city in the world?) all bring a sudden yearning to be back in Buenos Aires.

La Orquesta Romantica Milonguera is one of the most popular tango orchestras in the world right now. And we’re proud to be bringing them with Dante Culcuy Tango School to London on Saturday 25 May.
